My winter class… Accounting

It has been the second day for my accounting class, and already I have spent more time studying and working on this class than I have in any of my other past classes. Yesterday we had 13 pages of homework, and I am VERY PROUD to say I completed all of it… even though it took me 5 consecutive hours. Strangely enough, I have to admit my growing interest in this subject. It’s not enough to make me want to be accountant for the rest of my life, but I have to completely understand the problem and have the numbers matching before I move on to the next problem. Who knew I’d inherit my dad’s mathematical genes? Glad I did though!

Hopefully my posts about this class remain positive. I’d hate to start failing and have to publicly announce it to all my followers. Great motivation though :D

My LIC30days Bucket List

Here’s my December LIC30days list. I plan to cross off everything on this list by Dec. 31, 2011! 
 

  1. Skydive
  2. Go to all my winter classes
  3. Volunteer at the soup kitchen
  4. Take my dog to the dog park 2x a week
  5. Run around Girard Park 1x a week
  6. Create a workout plan
  7. Make someones Christmas the best one ever
  8. Sign up for Tough Mudder and/or Warrior Dash
  9. Recruit 1000 followers on my twiter
  10. Learn how to cook the basics
  11. Perfect a Jack Johnson song on my guitar
  12. Write 10 letters to people who I appreciate

My challenge for the next 30 days

Hey everybody!

My name is Katie Borchert, and I was recently trained by Amanda Hite and her team to become a brand agent aka bad ass ;) for Last In Concepts. If you haven’t heard of it already, she started the TR 30 day challenge awhile back and here are the ‘guidelines’ she had for it:

30 Day Lifestyle Challenge:

1.  CREATE: Define what you want. Write a bucket list of the things you want to do in the next 30 days. Be specific and plan these items on your calendar.  Keep the list simple and focused.  Sometimes less is more.

2.  SHARE:  Post your list either on your blog or email it to me at wogirl30@lastinconcepts.com so I can post it to share with everyone! It’s important to share your list so others can support and hold you accountable to your goals.

3.  SUPPORT:  On Twitter follow the hashtag #LIC30days to follow the community participating in the 30 day challenge.  Post updates of your progress, reach out to the community when you need support.  Follow others progress and support them.  Pick an on or offline support partner who is also doing the challenge.

So what I’m doing is starting the “Last In Concepts 30 Day Challenge” beginning December 1. I’ll post my bucket list that day and will continue to post videos about my progress. Please follow me and join me with this Lifestyle Challenge!
